We are a major supplier to the Faroese fishing fleet, serving both coastal vessels operating in Faroese waters and long-distance fishing vessels operating internationally. In addition, Effo has extensive experience supplying foreign fishing vessels, including large parts of the fleet operating in the North Atlantic.

Effo’s service area extends well beyond the Faroe Islands, supporting fishing operations in Newfoundland, Greenland, Iceland, the Barents Sea, UK waters, and the North Sea. Offshore bunkering has been a core part of our operations for many years.

Heavy Fuel

With an international bunkering terminal in the Faroe Islands, Effo is the only Faroese supplier of heavy fuel. The terminal is the best equipped of its kind in the North Atlantic region

Effo offers a comprehensive range of lubricants from ExxonMobil and FUCHS, stocked locally and available at highly competitive prices. On-board pumping is included in all deliveries
